Prakash Sarvepalli, M.D.

Dr. Prakash Sarvepalli began Great Lakes Medical Associates, PC in Edmore more than 24 years ago.  He attended medical training in India and competed his residency in Rochester, NY.  Dr. Sarvepalli has two daughters who are both working towards future medical careers.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine with a special focus on Geriatrics.  Dr. Sarvepalli is a Certified Medical Director and, along with seeing patient in his office, he cares for patients at Mid-Michigan Medical Center and various local skilled nursing facilities.  In his free time, Prakash enjoys hiking, traveling, and exercising.  Dr. Sarvepalli has a special passion for cardiac disease and diabetes prevention.

Sailaja Sarvepalli, M.D.

Dr. Sailaja Sarvepalli began practicing family medicine in Edmore more than 24 years ago  She attended medical training in India and competed his residency in Rochester, NY.  Dr. Sarvepalli has two daughters who are both working towards future medical careers.  She is board certified in Family Medicine as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine.  In her off time, Sailaja enjoys hiking, singing, and cooking.  Sailaja has a special passion for preventative medicine and cares for patients through all stages of their lives.

Betsy

Betsy grew up in Stanton and continues to reside in the area with her husband and daughter.  She completed her undergraduate studies and master’s degree at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI.  Betsy has been a physician assistant since 2013 and joined Great Lakes Medical Associates in 2020.  She specializes in family practice including pediatric care.  She enjoys spending time with family, friends and being outdoors.

Stephanie

Stephanie grew up in Mesa, Arizona and now lives in Mt. Pleasant, Mi.  She is married with two grown children and three grandchildren.  Stephanie completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and her master’s degree at Central Michigan University.  She has practiced medicine since 2002 and joined GLMAPC in 2008 specializing in family practice with a focus on internal medicine.  Stephanie spends her time off outdoors and enjoys many activities including hiking, backpacking, scuba diving, and snowmobiling.  Her favorite thing about medicine is getting to know her patients and their individual needs and working with them to improve their health and quality of life.

Marissa

Marissa grew up in Howell, Michigan and has recently moved to Mt. Pleasant with her husband Brandon and dog Hugh. Marissa completed her undergraduate studies in biomedical laboratory science at Michigan State University. She completed her Master’s in physician assistant studies at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. Marissa recently graduated in February and is excited to begin her career as a family medicine PA with GLMAPC. Marissa’s hobbies outside of work include lifting weights, reading, baking, traveling, taking her dog Huey for walks, and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about being an advocate for her patients and their health.
